I claim first due to my full viewing of all three clips.

Get a haircut ya hippie. Good lord, who is going to hire a hairy hobbit to run a baseball program. Level 2 on the sides ought to do the trick. Thanks for the post Tony. Miss you and hope you are doing alright. You are right, before you mentioned the clock I was thinking - hey that's a pretty cool clock, it must have been there prior to him moving in. Oh great - now Ian is going to get me that same clock for christmas. Sorry to ruin another gift Ian - don't bother with the clock. Good news about the possible new team. sounds like alot of work, be sure to be adequately compensated for the work. Room, car, stipend, find out how much money has been set aside for the construction of the field. I know you would do it right - love you and I noticed how you dodged the girl question - feel free to fill us in next post - how can you even get a second look with that captain caveman hair? Al

Requim for a Dream is a CRAZY movie if I remember it right...!! isn't it the one where the lady thinks the refrigerator is always attacking her and trying to get her?!

Dear Tony:

First, just to clear a couple of things up, I'm rather disapointed about your take on RED DAWN. I'll have you know that for anyone working in the bush-cheney administration, a weekly viewing of the movie is not only required, but knowing all things RED DAWN will get you that promotion. After all, the movie was the genesis for one of the lynchpins of the bush-cheney talking points; "If we don't fight them there........" Ooooooooo, I get goosebumps when I say this.

Second, I am a little offended by your telling the world that Lisa and I have ever harped at you. Now, I do remember, perhaps, maybe, once or twice making a SUGGESTION or two, but Harping? Never.

Third, hope it works out with St. Georges Sur Fontaine. And if it does, doesn't the nickname just have to be "Les Dragons Combative," or perhaps, "Les Dragons de l'eau."

Throughly enjoyed listening to the post - be sure and send me a copy of the DVD. I'll make copies for family and anyone else who wants one.

Love, Dad.

Anthony,
You little shit; I picked out Red Dawn. I remembered it from the REALLY OLD days as being good. Sorry, but you've wasted more time on less worthy pursuits. Love, Phyl

Alex-- I wasn't about to claim first without listening.... I knew I would get "harpt" at if I did ;-)

Tony -- I have started my "Going to France Fund". If you go back, this time next year I want to come visit!!!! So so so glad I got to talk to you the other day. I was showing Grant some of my fav spots in KC when you called, nothing was better than looking at the KC skyline and talking to you!!! Glad to see you have settled into your place. Good luck with the field and the new team... Im with Alex, make sure they are going to give you what you need AND deserve, don't let them cheat you just cuz you are American!! :-)

Love ya tons and can't wait for the next post!! -- Karly

Great post. I just rolled into town (14 hour drive, joey took five piss breaks in some of the shittiest places in Mississippi--lit.) I am tan, tired, and happy to be reading another post.

Swimming in the ocean is just not the same. I walk around alvin's island aimlessly. I find a quiet corner next to the boob mugs and goggleie-eyed clams, and cry, missing my two brothers.

I hope everything works out with the new club. I would hope that you would choose the name--you could have the name be a fundriser/rally for the new team--only have St. George people submit possible names, have a BBQ--announce the winner--and they will get something stupid like lifetime tickets. It sounds to me if you can win over the townspeople, your team will survive. This knowledge comes from my vast amount of experience of forming european baseball teams--so listen up.

I am tired, so I am going to sleep--post when you can--read another book---

P.S.---hey asshole---red dawn tought me several important lessons--1) you have to drink the heartblood after you kill a deer--2) only shoot a deer once, or the enemy will find you by your second shot--3) Powers Boothe was, is, and will always be a major pimp, and 4) starring in crappy 80's movies can cause pancriatic cancer---toodles

To paraphrase Dory from Finding Nemo, "Keep on waiting, keep on waiting, keep on waiting."
